Group Discussion > Kelvin Choi and Skylink Corporation Limited in Hong Kong

Hi,

Was wondering if you can check this out.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/skylink-corporation-limited/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
Is this real or fake?

Thanks!

It looks real to me. I haven't bought anything from this particular seller yet, but I see no reason not to. Their jade appears to be of a similar quality to that of many sellers I have bought from.

The problem is that this company is listed as "Manufacturer of decoration & craft in Hong Kong". I've asked Kelvin about the source of the items, he told me "Many things is my father leave to me." Left that many? I smell something funky.

How can he be legit?

Look at this listing:

Song Dynasty Archaic Jade Dragon Bi **5.4 x 1 cm**
$25.00 US and FREE Shipping... LOL

OK so antiquities are selling for under 50 bucks and shipping halfway around the globe is free...

Keep your money IMHO

Hello liebe Jade freunde,
Servus from Salzburg, Austria.
Skylink is special - take care...
See for myself all objects always after the same treatment from acid - "chemical weathering ..." Whether it comes from the Prä, Zhou or Han dynasty. For a short time, he mixes a few real objects, among the remakes. They are well-made, perhaps good CNC router.
Please note, I have found nothing to her what is worth his keep.
A remake is even a copy ... same in ebay, over 99,9%
Fashion idea today is: Take bad b-quality jade and turn it into Hong Shan fakes. -
Very cleverly, good profit and is not as toxic to the workers...

My personal specialty is alien jade and crystal from prehistoric times (oopa's).
Skylink seems to use some orginale as template. But all just remakes
Hong kong - the best years are gone.

My family are ancient Asian art collectors in 5th generation and I've seen a lot.

Good pick
