A few years ago I inherited some jade pieces from my father. For most of the carvings I've been able to find details (age, quality, origin) by finding similar on the internet but information on one vase eludes me.
On some levels it looks to be high quality but others not. The green is pale but uniform with very few inclusions considering the size, the carving is skilled but minimal, the style is bold but I can't seem to place it in any period.
I´m a collector of many things (much like my father) but my knowledge of jade is limited, I suspect it's an antique tourist piece around 100 years old but if anyone could improve my knowledge it would be appreciated.
