I've got all kinds of Nephrite with Pyrite specimens collected here in Washington State. I know it's not all that common, but its not unheard of...

Hi,

Pyrite in nephrite is fairly common IMO. There are some black jades (actinolite from CA Boots Estate and Bitch Creek Wyoming) that have specks of pyrite. For more information check here:
